Havana Grill has one successful location in San Diego and asked RAD to be the designer and architects for their new location. RAD was tasked with discovering a new brand identity and incorporating throughout the new 3500 sf restaurant and cafe. The design is inspired by old Havana, Cuba. The encaustic cement tiles and dark wood give the space a very inviting and warm feel. The space is divided into 3 main parts, the dining area, bar and covered patio. The covered patio becomes a cafe/coffee shop during the morning and the bar/dining area is utilized from afternoon to night. The space is designed to be flexible to accommodate the varying uses.
